There is a Playgroup that meets the fourth Thursday of every month for younger children. This is a great way for children to develop friendships with other adopted children, and for the momâs to enjoy some "adult" conversation. It is always nice to interact with others who understand and can relate to your own adoption issues.
Mom's Night Out
There is also a "Momâs Night Out" group that meets the second Thursday of every month. This a great opportunity to discuss ongoing adoption issues in raising an adoptive child or to just be free for a night. It is a wonderful support system, with lots of valuable information shared.
